The HPE StoreEver MSL Tape Libraries meet the demanding storage requirements of businesses needing unattended tape backup, disaster recovery, low cost long-term archive capability, or protection against cyber attacks such as ransomware. The MSL tape libraries offer a broad choice of storage capacities and technology including LTO-9, LTO-8, or LTO-7 Ultrium tape drives. Web-based remote management capabilities make the MSL tape libraries easy to manage from across the room or across the globe. Quickly manage tape media both in and out of the library with the standard barcode reader and configurable mail slots. Protect important business data from unauthorized access with several data encryption options. Quickly increase capacity and/or performance with simple drive upgrades to manage data growth or move existing MSL tape drive kits between MSL tape libraries for investment protection.

What is new supporting point:
HPE StoreEver MSL Tape Libraries support LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 tape drives allowing for higher capacity per library footprint.
HPE StoreEver MSL3040 Tape Library now supports up to 15 expansion modules, in a maximum form factor of 48U, providing compressed total capacity of up to 28.8 PB.
The HPE Smart Choice Purchase Program features popular MSL library products that can be quoted in minutes and shipped quickly through HPE authorized partners.
LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 Fibre Channel (FC) and SAS drive upgrade kits offer compressed capacity of up to 45 TB per cartridge and 300 MB/s native transfer rate per drive with LTO-9 tape media.
